i shot this while standing next to the couple in front of an empty storefront window. The empty store had a wall of mirrors inside, so i shot through the window and into the mirror...and then a man walked by and left his reflection on the window glass. The red wall is a parking garage across the street.

What the heck happened here?? This is most certainly one of the best, more intelligent entries in the pack. You people who hit anything below an 8 are simply very odd and in desperate need of some 'art' brain cells.
How do you find all these kissing people? What a wonderful combination of elements. The passing guy is the perfect foil to keep this from feeling to intrusive on the privacy of the couple.
I really like this too, imo the crop tended to make it hard to find the subject. A crop just below the sign would have been more effective - again imo. I think all of your stuff is amazing though,
Jack
Edited to suggest a crop just above the sign :)
in my opinion, cropping the top out ruins a certain graphic balance. The title is there to help you find the subject.
Is there a desaturation rule that tells us we need to leave the subject in color? I would like to know where the majority of people are learning these rules. And then...I would like to never learn there.

Posthumous Blue Ribbon (shared with "playhorse"). This is just insanely good. That's not a poster, is it? I'll die a little inside if that's a poster. 10
That is absolutely excellent. I like everything about this, the voyeur gives it real impact, I will be very interested in your submission details. I can't really add anything constructive except perhaps I might have cropped just above the ledge to exclude the lights and shadows. You should do well with this, good luck
I can't decide if my fellow DPCers will like this?
I love it
I love everything about it.
It is a big TEN from me.
Good luck
I would love to see this top 10.
Interesting choice of desat placement. I think it does much more for the concept and the photo than it would have had you kept the couple in color and desatted everything else. Good choice.
Interesting. The only problem that I have is that the red highlights take away from the kiss. I think you want to force the viewer's eye to the kiss in this case by highlighting the couple rather than the surrounding wall.
