Took this pic while travelling in a intercity Bus between Mumbai and Pune (expressway). Just got my cam out, shot the pic and wiped it dry :P. The contrast was amazing even in the noon. The center mountainous region has great scenery after the rainy season and is foggy in the winter season. Mumbai is the Financial Capital whereas Pune is the Cultural capital of India. Pune is also known as Oxford of the East for its great educational infrastructure.

The shot is really interesting. There are many interpretations and thought you can derive from the shot. I tend to look at is as an adventure of travel. Plowing through the rain/fog to somewhere unseen. This mood is wonderful.
The shot itself is set-up perfectly. Rule of thirds, to me, is excellent. The bus being 1/3, the road 1/3 with the nice curve, and the cliff wall the last 1/3. My eye follows the road and curve (the subject) and bus and wall lead my eye to the road. I like this. especially with the fog and wetness.
The colors and shading are right on. The light spot in the sky with the tree are nice modifiers. The more I look the better I like your shot.
IMO I see no negatives in this shot. Too bad you didn't get a ribbon, but you will if you keep it up. Great shot and look forward to seeing future shots.
A beautiful scene to be sure, but it appears that 1/3rd of it is obscured by your inclusion of the bus in the right of the image. To me, this detracts from the photo as I don't think the bus adds anything to the image. There isn't any nice reflection in it's windows, and it's black color makes the picture darker. It gives me a feeling of frustration as I want to peer around and see what's on the other side.
