Dogwood buds at this stage are often quite small. I think a very good foto. I call them viking helmets.

Texture and colours of the image are rendered sterile because of the lack of background. I'd be inclined to shoot the shoot against a green out of focus background.

I am reminded of Little Shop of Horrors. It makes me want to turn it on its side so that it looks like a mouth. (might need some eyeballs too ;-)

It looks like grapes with hairy angel wings! There's something sad to me about that patch of darkness in the upper left that it's reaching for, something that seems unfortunate.

To me it looks like it's reaching for the light - ready to embrace the warmth. Nice light and detail, too, if you don't mind a technical comment. :-)
