This is by far my favorite photo on DPC. I've always loved this book and my family gave it to me as a high school graduation present. All through college I've had it on my bookshelf, still brings some inspiration. I think this photo captures the essence of the book perfectly!

Interesting take on the challenge. Vivid colors, possibly over the top but likely intentional.

I do like the image (especially the colors), but a straight horizon would be nice and perhaps some more cropping would give a better composition.

Gorgeous and wonderfully executed.

Fabulous. Top two in my estimation. Great idea and awesome colors. Feels kind of like a dream. Back to bump you up to 9.

Nice image. Perhaps coloured it a bit too red - might have preferred slightly more natural colours.

This is pretty wild looking but it certainly fits the Dr. Seuss theme. Good luck!

I like this shot a lot. The idea the crop the comopsition but I am not sure about the intensity on the colour It is the right colour for sure but maybe a tad too strong.

Yay, I like this - a picture looking to represent the lyrics without just recreating the existing illustrations and films... Nice!

Wonderful. Besides a beautiful place, an exotic way of getting there! The bird adds to the picture.

Solid gold. I like the rays of light. Lots of things to look at all across the frame. My pick for the blue.

Very nice photo but the only Dr Seuss reference is the title. There are many places we could go.
