I like how this softly emerges from the background, with little delicate touches of light on the petals. The center comp is perhaps not "exciting", but I can't see how you could have composed it any differently where it would have improved things - sometimes a straightforward centered comp is just the way to go, and that's what's happening here.

Excellent detail! I love the almost completely dark background...really makes the flower stand out without looking unnatural.

very soft and pretty. it's like the flower is just floating in the frame.

Nice shot. Probably would have completely centered it or gone with a more traditional composition, but the textures and tones are very pleasing on the flower.

Very nice showing of this flower. I like how the focus fades gently to the back petals. I'm not so sure about the centred composition.

Magnifique! I might crop off one side to offset it a bit, but the tones and lighting worked well here.
