This was totally inspired by silverfoxx's ribbon winner:
But I wanted to put a little Escher twist on it.
-----------
Here is the original:
I couldn't possibly remember all the steps, but it was over an hour of editing. I used some filters to get a sketched look, then restored parts of the original image, more filters, then used a tablet and drew in some of the lines & shadows and a paintbrush to color the shirt.
escher is one of my all time favs and i loved that ribbon winner by silverfoxx .. it was a beautiful work of art .. this may not be beautiful!!, but i love your imaginative approach and i love the processing & the result ... i'm wondering if you drew and then scanned in, or drew in your software program over the photograph?? .. wotever you've done it totally works ..
Wow! You did great on your version! I'm in awe that it is possible to make photos look like this. The sky is the limit to what we can do artistically this day -- if only we know how -- which I don't :) So for now, I will feast my eyes on the ones with the talent to pull it off and just wish.
Art - what can I say ? great picture - inspired title. Impressed as always. Silverfoxx still looks prettier though . . it must be where you are missing those high slavic cheekbones. :- )
