Sorry but even though this is a symmetry challenge, this shot is just way too centered for my taste, if I had composed this shot I would have gone in as close as my lens would have allowed me, then cropped the photo to 1:1 and had just the flower in the center with as little green as possibly, preferrably only in the corners.
Nice colors, but not terribly intersting. A closer crop and less centered composition might help. Turf grass almost never makes a good background IMHO.
