Congrats on getting over 5! This is a nice image and meets the challenge well in my opinion. The fact that most English speaking members won't know the symbols means it didn't quite have the impact for some, but I see that one of your commenters did see it, which is very nice. (I always like it if just one person sees something in one of my pictures!) Your lens should suit most situations - keep playing with it. The lighting here is just a bit harsh in one spot - very hard to avoid with circular objects. What you might try is diffuse lighting - I shine a light on a white wall next to what I want to shoot, then use a longer exposure to accomodate the lower light on my subject, but it does spread the light a little more evenly that way. Keep at it - you're doing fine! |
