Yikes, I spent a lot of time editing this, but probably should have just taken more pictures :)
Photo taken outside, black blanket behind the plant, and one flash into an umbrella. None of my other lighting experiments were quite good enough.
Had a lot of shots to choose from, decided to focus on one bloom. I loved the green of the plant in the background too. Really, what drew me to the shot was the colors of the plant, they are just amazing (in real life).
From RAW, Rawshooter (including saturation), PSP XI: curves, more curves, lots of burning and cloning, resize, more cloning, sharpen once (.5/150), sharpen twice (1.5/20), border, border, save. Plus a whole lot of experimenting.
I'd like to predict a 6, but it's just not as clean as I'd like and something feels off, so I predict a 5.5. |
