I like the sentiment and the shots. The colors are putting me off, though. I like the strong contrast between subject and background in the middle, and would suggest finding similar contrasts for the others.

The line at the bottom is distracting that it is not level - Also seems to be some sort of colour cast on the images - Nice idea.

inconsistant lighting and the line in the bottom 5th of each frame is incredibly distracting. meets the challenge but in a pretty dull, drab and uninspired way. dont give up though. 5
