 Shot in raw mode and processed in Photoshop CS.

I photographed this anthurium and wanted to show its simplicity and highlight it's shape. I used a slightly unusual angle for the flower and positioned the light in a way that the shadows will reveal the shape.

Post processing: crop, adjusted levels, adjusted highlights/shadows, converted to black and white using channel mixer, a little bit of usm applied.

Could do with stamen in focus as well as the petals - methinks. Idea is definately good. Can't decide if I like it or not. Has artistic merit and is fits the theme well.
