Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. The subject fits, but the image itself feels too busy to me. Exposure composition focus lighting all good.
Personal: I like the photograph, but I don't identify it strongly with "simplicity".
Like this very much, good composition and great colors, lighting and detail. A small nit....could have least cleaned the mallet head....IT'S FIlthy!!!LOL! 10 anyway.
This is an excellent shot, the detail on the mallet and the clarity of the balls are great, the only thing I would have suggested was cleaning the mallet just a little, other than that this is a good shot, I like it
