Splendid. The contrast-less, washed out field does indeed give a cold feel... And then the moody sky with the black mountains in the background... A neat shot!
From the thumb nail, is almost looks like a wave breaking on the beach, but when one views it in its normal size, one sees differantly.

This is an amazing image! I love the muted brown/beige of the foreground and black/gray of the mountains and sky. It really does give the feeling of 'cold'!
This is beautiful! You live in my favorite area on the planet. Every single chance we get -- at least twice a year -- we make a beeline for Estes Park to do some Rocky Mountain hiking. Those are such beautiful mountains, and I love the foreground barren field.
