i'm not sure how this will be recieved but the minute i took it i fell in love with it. i have been wanting to do some abstract b&w landscapes for a while now, this scene was so beautiful i left in full coulour.

This is spectacular. The wonderful lines draw you across the frame. What really makes me like the photo is the boat, small details like that set this shot apart.
I like the idea. The lines of water have a calming effect. However, the water at the bottom doesn't seem to add anything to the image and puts the boat on the midline in the image. I think the image would be more dynamic if it were cropped just below the boat to put the boat closer to or on the bottom third line (rule of thirds).
