I know your gonna get comments on the spelling error, but I will crtique the photo-- If you subject was the fruit that has the light , I would have chosen to make that in focus, rather than the fruit in foreground-- good attempt--
If you are trying to show healthy shapes, why not illuminate them all. Why throw the front of the image into darkness which leads your eyes to the more lit object that is out of focus. It kind of kills the purpose of the front shapes. It is a bit too tightly cropped on the left. Unless the greenish cast was intended, it doesn't really work here. The oranges are reddish, why not use blue or yellower background or lighting.
I like the orange and greens colors together. I'm not sure why you chose to have the stack of oranges (clementines?) in partial silouette, and have the well lit one in the background out of focus. I do like the effect of the orange color creeping around the edges of the fruit, but the front is just too dark and the composition to disparate - I'n like the focus to be on one fruit, with the lighting effect done a bit better - it would really show the shape of the fruit.
I think your idea was good for the challenge..and I like the background color. However the lighting on the four tangerines is too light making them very dark. That may have been your original idea but the far ground tangerine is cropped too tightly, making it look wedge in there.
