Last minute edit and entry. One of my first attempts at infrared (I have been waiting all winter for some greenery!) There will probably be a ton of infrared shots in a landscape challenge, but I've been dying to play with it so here goes. I still need to work on the editing, but I'm fairly pleased. I feel like the infrared added some umph to a relatively boring landscape and I like it.
The editing was what I have gathered to be standard IR editing: swap blue and red channels, curves for contrast, and messed with hue/saturation to get the colors I liked.

Pretty cool shot, great tones and colors. However, I can“t shake the feeling I would have liked it more if you had tilted the camera upwards, having less foreground and more sky.
I love the way the snow covers the ground in this. It IS snow isn't it - not that fake IR stuff? Very nice deep blue skies give a nice counter-balance to the lighter ground colors. Good luck in the challenge.
I love polarizers but in this instance I think that the nearly black sky is distracting. A little "lighter" sky would have really sealed this image. Still a stunning shot.
