My first try in Expert Editing. I took 3 pictures: the base picture with dry bright hair, a picture with wet dull hair/colors and strains, and one at night with a burning sparkler (for effect). then over-layed parts of the base picture with dull hair and the sparkling effect of the brush, careful and long work with the eraser tool

Nice idea. The surprise look best fits the first stroke of the brush which seems to have already occurred. The results from the current stroke would be nearly invisible to the girl. The left side seems only half restored w/ the wonder brush. It seems odd she would have stopped half-way down and moved on.
