indian paintbrush (ok state flower) and bluebonnets (tx state flower) in a field between Burnet and Lampasses, TX. Used my new 2x telephoto lens (cant find it to list it on the pmain page). Only basic editing with photoshop (unsharp, contrast, resize). All critiques welcome.

So many good shots have been ruined by power lines. With the liberal post production rules (Expert Editing) it would have been well worth the time to clone them out. Otherwise, nice shot.
Powerlines: they are the bane of my (and possibly every photographer's) existence. Maybe you could have turned a bit so the powerlines would have been out of the shot.
intimate. Nice to keep the sky within exposure. It does look like there is a fair amount of noise up there. Some work with NI or other methods may have helped this. 5
The sky is a bit noisy, and the plants in the immediate foreground are a bit blurry and distracting. However, the flowers that are in focus have nice colour.
