Congratulations! Very nice photo!

Great shot. I would have liked to see some motion blur on the wings to make it more dynamic, but that sounds like me being a nit since it's so difficulty to capture what you've captured already. I wonder how long an exposure could be made to achieve it without sacrificing sharpness.

Love this! Great detail. Great bokeh. Great focus. 9

Delightful. One of my favorites of the challenge. Well composed and precisely shot, though I'm guessing composition happened more than was made (I tried to do this, failed miserably, and didn't enter it; seeing this I'm glad I chose another shot!). 9.

Love the DOF in this, it gives it a very dreamy quality. The colors that are very rich and vivid add to the dreaminess as well. Excellent!

This is my favorite picture in the entire challenge. Post-challenge I'll be very interested to see how you set this photo up. Only things I can nitpick about are the glare off the back of the bee and the grayish background at the bottom-left (solid green would have been better).

Very nice, effective macro! The purple flowers really *pop* for me, even though they are in soft focus. Love the eye of the bee...very sharp! *10*

Clarity on the bee is excellent, great detail. Well done!

First off, you fabulously captured details in the bee! Great capture in the freezing the action of the bee in mid-flight. Lighting is very good and the colors in the photograph are wonderfully vibrant.

Holy cow. Perfect focus and DOF. Great color. WOWZA!!!

OHH, great colors! really crisp job and I love the effect of the DOF ont he flower!

Wow! Having tried and tried to get great bee pictures in my day, I totally appreciate the difficulty of getting one to be still long enough to get a crystal clear sharp focused shot like this -- with minimal editing to where you can't even blow it up and crop it! I am TOTALLY impressed and feel sure this one should win a ribbon -- from what I've seen so far - a BLUE ONE! Congratulations! 10

Great shot, super fine detail on the hairs. Spot on focus with the shallow DOF. 8

What a shot. It's a pity that you couldn't see the wings a little more. Definately one of my favourites.
