A pair of pewter jugs (actually pure tin from Selangor) - I love the design. Placed on a sheet of coloured paper, curved up to the rear. Lit with two 500w halogen lamps, one to the rear offset to the right because of space limitations, the other in front, above the camera, which wwas tripod mounted. The whole shooting position was surrounded by black paper to reduce unwanted reflections. Post processing was focused on reducing the shadows, used replace colour several times, in several areas. Used Gaussian blur to reduce the effect of a bad scratch on the right jug. Used USM and NeatImage to sharpen the jugs and NeatImage to further blur background.
It isn't "art" but perhaps it captures the flowing curves of the original designer's inspiration, which is a work of art!
Used EF 28-135mm lens at 33mm.

You obviously have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of glare reduction. There is just enough bright light to highlight the curves of these elegent jugs.
Using two accents the shape and repetion is a wonderful way to strengthen the theme.
I do question the choice of background colour. I may have chosen one that created a stronger contrast. That would have made the jugs stand out more.
Nice capture of the metallic shine and texture. Great choice of background color for this subject, and interesting use of negative space - the area between the two jugs looks like a heart shape.
This seems more "form" than "shape", however, it is a very nice shot. The composition suits the subject well. The lighting is wonderful, and I like that you didn't distract from the strength of your subject with some kind of big border.
