This has the saddest story behind it. I went down to Kemah for the weekend with my roommates and we wandered around for awhile. I was totally enjoying taking photos of random people and feeling all professional, when we wandered by the pier and I saw this little girl. Her dad was sitting on a bench about 15 feet away, smoking and talking on his mobile. I wandered over and started taking a few photos of her, and her dad never even looked up. Eventually a woman (I'm assuming it was her mom) came over and yelled at him, and then they walked off and the girl trailed after them. She just seemed so lonely the whole time.
I didn't do any editing on this photo. But I am looking for a better title! I want a two-word title that contradicts itself and expresses the moment- something about her loneliness clashing with the beauty of the picture perfect moment. Solitary something-or-other. Any ideas would be welcome!!
