Taken near Nesjavellir in Iceland went there with Larus who some of you may know of. Anyway last minute lets see how this does.
Post challenge. Wow, did not ecpect this to do this well, mainly because we have seen a lot of aurora lately, but what was I gonna do leave it out. Anyways PB and a seven I have to say I am very pleased eith the result. Also this image achieves quite a few goals for this year.

I'm surprised no one noticed the ghostly face on the left side of the sky! It's easier to see in the thumbnail.. but it definitely makes this image unique! It is like two eyes and a nose looking up and to the right, as though it were watching the rest of the aurora. I thought this image would have scored higher myself.
Well, I'm afraid any superlative gushing about this photo would just sound like a bunch of cliche's. . .What can you say except it is photographic perfection! I wish I could give it a 20!! And I feel pretty sure that all that green will be complimented by blue at the end of the week! Congratulations!
darn you icelanders and alaskans and your gorgeous light shows!! *folds arms in disappointment* Ok... I'll give you a 10 but I'm taking 2 points off because I couldn't do the same shot here in Kansas City LOL
Wow. Pity we can't all live in iceland! :) It's a bit too, ah, what's the word, oh yeah, Green. :) If it wasn't basic editing, I'd like to see the mountains stark BW, with this awesome sky above.
