i hope you got some more close up shots of that barren tree in the surf in the background. from this angle, it looks like a hand reaching up. i image it looking facinating with the waves washing around it. more i think about it, i'm not quite sure how a tree could be that close to the surf...very odd, unless the tide is still very high.
I like the idea; unfortunately execution is not that good. I feel like it needs more contrast and I’d crop it a little differently: there is big empty area on the lower left corner that doesn’t do much for the image. IMO, 5
