Very surprised at the outcome - I did not think the image would score this well. Thanks for your comments, and votes, but I can't help but be absolutely flabbergasted. Makes the couple of hours I spent building paper chains just that much more worth it, I guess. :)

I really liked this. I considered doing something with paper chains, but couldn't come up with a good idea. You did, and you shot it well. The colored background definitely adds some visual interest, too. :)

I thought immediately of these old grade school paper chains when I heard about this challenge, so I'm surprised only one entry went that direction. I never would have thought to use the fan or to show movement, though. I like the color consistency, too (whites and reds). Very clever, well photographed, a high vote from me.
