 This sparrow was sitting in the fence of a Tiger enclosure at a wildlife park. Picture was taken handheld on a Canon 100-400L IS.

Very sweet... I like how the sparrow isn't looking right at the camera, but down at something on the ground, as though it were contemplating. Beautiful colors, contrast, and composition. Nice shot!

Rich, thanks for that. The lens was a Canon 100-400L IS. Not a dainty lens it has to be said, but it can produce great results hand held as in this case, and in my 'Looking for Love' photo.
