I know this is pushing the limits of the boudaries of the challenge guidlines, but I want to emphasize that soome things are more valuable than money. This kid's not currency, but she makes her parents rich in her own way.

THe overall shot is very good and I'll take your word for the subject fitting the title but what is with the pose? Neither standing or sitting, she appears to be in mid squat for some reason.
really really nice shot, very well lit with a very distinctive and attractive background. Lighting is superb with a nice visable backlight.
But....relevence to the challenge is so thin it's wafer thin. "Capture an image representing money". I am sure she does cost you some cash (especialy this time of year) but as an icon representing money it's way off.
Best shot of the challenge though - personaly i would have kept it and submitted to the best of december open challenge.
