Take two of my recent shot for the "Motion panning" challenge
Not very creative of me, I know, but I wanted to see how it would score when it is not borderline DNMC, as it happened for that previous challenge.
To repeat the description of the technique from that shot, I strapped the camera to my chest with a bungee cord and put it on a timer. A wide-angle lens is required to capture the whole scene with the hands.
Last time it was an old d70 and hands firmly on the handles. This time I decided to up the stakes a little bit, so this was taken with a brand new d200 and hands off the handles. It turned out quite a bit harder to hold the body still in order to get a reasonably sharp shot, so this is the best I could do in the very limited time I had for this "project".

Oooh nice motion blur and I really like the use of that path leading my eye in the direction of the motion. The "rules" of composition usually direct us not to lead the viewers' eyes out of the frame but here I think it works really well.
Wow! I can't imagine how you did this! I like very much the composition, the steer and the road both going to the right, and the colors, which are very natural... still IMO something could be improved to make this one of my favorites: the focus on the hands is perfect, but it would add more impact if it was on the steer also, and the gate at the end of the road is somewhat distracting. Anyway, very interesting job!
Nice shot, but no hands on what? You would have us believe that you weren't holding the handle bars and you weren't holding the camera. It will be interesting to see how you pulled this one off. I like the motion blur and the orientation of the photo. This gives the image a sense of speed, the feeling of a slight loss of control, and a feeling of dizziness.
simply cool! i absolutely love the way you have kept hands/bike-handle sharp and have included the curved bike path. one of my favourites of the challenge and definitely the best image of moving bikes (view while riding the bike) in this challenge. good luck!
Neat. Made me wonder how this was done. Would've been perfect if the handlebars weren't blurred. Probably hung the camera around your neck using the self-timer.
Excellent! I just voted on a similar composition. I like them both, but I do like the hands in your shot. I like the slight tilt, the natural color and the pathway. 10 from me.
Great Shot!!! It will make you dizzy!! It may just be me but I think you can tell that the bike is actually moving backwards, perhaps it is just my visual impression biased by what I think is the way the picture was taken. I am giving you a 10 though.
