I really like this shot, it does have the "resemblence of real currency" but it isn't "real currency." I like the orange frame around it, but the background is a little distracting. 9
Technical: Fits the challenge, exposure, composition and focus are good, lighting is appealing.
Personal: Fits the challenge but neither the subject nor the way it was shot strike me as particularly creative. The border seems kinda Halloweeny but I'm not marking down for it.
not sure how close you live to vegas - but if you just purchased the chips to photograph, then cashed out - larger chip values might have had more [conceptual] emphasis. visually, i think the glistening/shine is very appealing.
edit: now that i think about it, i wonder if this is considered "the likeness of currency". hrm. not sure, so my previous vote stands.
nice sharp image but I didnt think any sort of currancywas supposed to be in the image but I think you have done a great job and I love the colours I would also like to go to Las Vagas one day
