I took the suggestions of several people who commented on another bank shot I took for the "Sacred Places" challenge - that is, chose a bank with a more rustic exterior and shot from a low angle to give a sense of soaring grandeur.

Love the angle. Great shot. Can even see the lousy paint job done at the top window and whatever is on the lowest window. Whis I could see the poster on the bottow window. Can almost read it. Still a great shot.
Nice idea but I think let down by the actaul subject itself. The buildign is not particulary attractive and the view point selected is not flattering either. The reflections in the windows are disturbing - too bright at the top and the lower ons has telephone lines. The sign, whilst there, is difficult to read - and I think it is an important part of the whole - and could stand a bit more saturation.
I get a subtle bit of humour as I imagine New York to be concrete, steel and skyscrapers but here you have a small stone building - more of a shrine.
Heeheehee....Is this the right challenge? (wink) I like the shot but am quite distracted by the sign in the window and the reflections of the power lines. If you cropped just under the pie piece shaped window (above the ugly sign) you would have a more powerful composition. Nice focus and lighting!
