I shot this to show how a peaceful religion is being held hostage, it represents to me how Islam is being held captive by a minority of radicals from within it's ranks. Production information: shot in B&W and high iso for extra grain effect, also added some noise post production and cropped, made ready for web.

I like the concept and the message you are trying to portray. I feel that the picture would have benifited from the Quran being more centered and the chain on the upper left to exit the fram of the picture like the rest. I liek it otherwise and it made me think more than most the other photos!
I am not sure whether the religion is being held hostage, or the people are being held hostages by the religion, but that's not the place for this discussion. So, great shot anyway. 9
