Like one of the comments noticed, this was taken at Nikko in Japan - wonderful site. Lighting was a bit flat (very overcast) but I still feel a better photographer would have done better justice to the place.
Lot of contrast, saturation and burning to get some interest in the photo. Would have cloned out the person in blue (which bothers me A LOT) but wasn't sure if it was legal.
I initially wanted to post my "Tower of Guard" photo for this challenge, but I realized I had taken it just minutes before the challenge was announced...
