I love your work. Everything about this shot is typically excellent, but what really makes it work for me is seeing that laundry basket peeking around the corner in the background. Just the perfect detail.
SO nice; so clear with detail (the iron) and so nicely fuzzy to create a great milky white creaminess;I love the shirt open and the provocative nature but its really quite innocent and serious; great shot.
This was my favorite in the challenge easy. I've been meaning to add you to my favorite photographers list for some time now. I am always impressed with your work, the thought process, the thoughtless process, the final products, and the variety. Sad that I took so long. I've been lazy. I will study more of your work at a later time when I feel I can truly appreciate it.
You really work magic. How can someone ironing be so captivating?! Well The Potato Peeler is also captivating. It seems the subject hardly matters, it's all in the presentation and the light. Congratulation on another outstanding image.
P.S. I like this much better than the other, uncropped, version in your portfolio.
I just love your work!!! Your composition and lighting in this shot just blow me away! ...And the color treatment just puts it over the top! Sorry I didn't vote in this, but you would have gotten another 10 from me! Adding to favs!
This is awesome! This proves 2 things: 1, you just can not TAKE a bad picture. You probably look like that the minute you wake up in the morning too. Amazing :) and 2, a talented photographer can turn the simplest scene into extraordinary art! I'm so impressed! Congratulations on such a great finish!
This is positively stunning. Everything about this is perfect, the light, the composition, the background wall, the elements at viewer right, the story, the beautiful girl. This is truly gorgeous.
Hi Svetlana :-) This is a beautiful image, well worthy of accolades. Hope you are feeling better these days and will be back on your feet soon!
BTW - IMO the textures are fantastic and really make this image. 9.
Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two three four now and I'm running late, sorry.
Very nice shot Svetlana. You have my vote as the most artistic person on DPC. This shot looks pretty good concerning the noise. I really don't see any. Did you find out what was wrong with your camera?
