Experimented with different angles and strength of light to maximise texture. Adjusted color balance more to the blue/cyan, slight contrast increase with curves, then resize, unsharp mask and save for web.

I like the idea! Great lighting and focus. I think I would like to see more of the jeans aboave the wallet. Did you try a Border? A thin brown complementing the leather may have given a boundry to keep my eye in the photo.
