Taken at Shepherd's Dell in the Columbia River Gorge near Multnomah Falls. I realize there is a great divide between the slow exposure waterfall folks and the frozen waterfall folks. I decided to shoot into the sun (probably influenced by the contre-jour challenge opening the same week), thus limiting the amount of exposure to capture this little wonderland.

This shot has everything going for it except for the water. The sunlight coming through the trees. The fallen moss-covered trees, the rich greens. If only the water was flowing through the photo instead.
Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two now and I'm running late, sorry.
Waterfalls are one of my favorite subjects.... This one would have appealed to me more if the sun wasn't in it. I am also partial to longer exposures. But this is a nice shot overall 7
