Used a bit of soft focus on the *whole picture* from my psp8 program, not much though. The rest was done with a high exposure +1.0 and the light from the window made it softer. Great challenge.
Since it is a baby shot I think it will get a high 5.0 :P
She was cute to watch decorate the tree. All the bulbs went on one branch. hehehe. I think I will leave them there for awhile. I did get some shots of those to. I will post them when the challenge is over.

No doubt my favorite photo in the contest. I gave it an 8. After looking at it a couple more times after I voted and the contest was over, well I should have voted higher. Congrats, wonderful job.

Sonja, perfect. Absolutely perfect. I didn't even vote on this challenge, but if I had...I know I would have had the good sense to give this a 10. :) Way to go!!
Sonifo!! Yes, I thought this was yours. :) Just great, really a special holiday shot. When she gets older she'll treasure this. It's just wonderful. Congrast.
Looks like a truly magical moment. The soft focus here is perfect, composition is great - like sneaking a peak at her own little private ceremony, and the lighting is wonderful. Very natural look/pose/feel. A definite christmas card look. Excellent shot.

This is definitely a keeper. Traditional moments at their best. I love the soft focus here and the red ornament was the perfect prop. I wouldn't change a thing. 10
Beautiful! That captures motion, childhood, and innocence all in one. The window barrier is distracting though, it'd be 2x better if it was just a white background. But hey, life isn't that convenient ;)
No doubt about it. Sweet. . . all around. Nicely done. She's a keeper! My only comment is that there may be a touch too much space behind and above the subject.
I love this!!!! What a precious scene to be treasured for a lifetime!!! Soft focus here was wonderfully used to emphasize the innocence, angel-likedness of your jewel-like subject!! Way to go!
The whites are a little too bright for me, but what a lovely image! Soft focus works so well for this shot in bring a sense of peace and hyper-idealism! 9
Excellent photograph!! You did an outstanding job of capturing this wonderful moment! I love the entire composition! This could be a greeting card!! Congrats on a 10!!
very lovely and appropriate use of soft focus. The tree seems to be reaching out to embrace her, and she has such a special expression on her face - concentration, magic. You have depicted this as if it were seen through memory. I like the backlight - but wish the wooden bar and horizontal shadow weren't there, or at least were so pronounced. Its also a bit dark on the top left. 8
This is my first 10. If there ever was a pefect photo...this is it. The focus, lighting, composition and subject are all perfect. I can't ever think of a childs photo as beautiful. Good luck in this challenge. This should be a blue !
