I got to go up to Montmartre for a little while, and I was lucky enough to have some cool clouds in the background. The main edits were the partial desaturation and some sharpening.

I really like the contrasting colours of white against the blue and almost moody looking sky. As someone mentioned before, the birds really add the finishing touches to this photograph. I like it a lot.
Good point. There were so many tourists there at the time that it didn't look good to get the bottom in the picture, and I couldn't really fit the church in the frame in portrait mode... Oh well. Thanks for the comment!
hmmm, the first thing that comes to my mind, is not having the bottom 'cut off' could be an improvement. The shot might actually work well if you flipped your cam and shot it in portrait orientation and included the base and maybe even a touch of foreground (depending of course, on what is there). Especially seeing as how the little trees and stuff in lower left of frame don't seem to lend any importance to the scene.
Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two three now and I'm running late, sorry.
