Thanks Sandy and Germaine for the visit and the kind comments. We live on a little lake and throughout the year we have some great sunrises. I was driving to work and looked over and saw this view. Literally stopped the truck, grabbed my camera, and took about 20 shots. The geese kindly joined the photo op and swam in front of the little island. Regarding the finish, I'm pleased for my 4th challenge and I had a chance to compete against some great photos and photographers.
Oh DARN! I was hoping this would ribbon! Or at least be an honorable mention or front page. But in this challenge, a top 20 and a 6.85 is something to be really proud of. This photo is magical! Congratulations!
Oh yes! This is gorgeous still! My favorite photo so far. I love being in scenes like that that are so quiet and still you can hear the ducks little feet peddling! Beautiful job!
