Thank you for all of the feedback. I am truly in the learning stage of this fantastic hobby and every comment (OK, maybe not every ;) helps me in the process.
I want to like this very much...it's just a tad too bright to me. I never get to photograph in fog so I'm not sure if I could help. I think maybe a tad bit more contrast or darken highlights? I don't know. Still...it looks very 'Still'...7
The overall mood of stillness is captured well here, but there are some elements that for me make the image less effective. The sky seems to be very noisy (an unavoidable side-effect of the fog?) and in the top part of the sky the highlights are blown. Would also have liked to have a clear view of the barn, without that one shrub blocking it.
