The first thing you see in this picture isn't the man using the cell phone. There is to much distraction.

Agreed. Nice idea would have been better executed with a very narrow depth of field photo possibly in which the blurred background represented the isolation....

While you followed the parametres of the challenge, you've nearly lost the subject to the corner ... maybe next time you should widen the shot a little ... just a suggestion ...
