soft lighting, soft focus. Perhaps odd for such a sharp smell. Since the composition is in this close I'd like to seee more detail. - better light better focus.

DOF - and I doubt that onions have a scent. Smell yes, but scent no.

Littile more lighting and depth of field would help. Nice shot though.
