Great Idea, you now have one heck of a camera phone!!! I think I've seen a prototype of the XT/350D with a built-in cellphone a while ago. Their ideas was for photojournalists who wish to sent their photographs to the headquarter right after the shots are taken.

Ha! Thanks for the explanation. I think you should, indeed, leave them on.

This picture is blurry, but nice idea!

Way to be creative! This one is not only creative and imaginative, but technically fabulous. The buttons on the camera are very convincingly real. Good sharp, clean image.

While this certainly a very clever photo, I don't see how it relates to the challenge in depicting a person using a cell phone.

IMHO, this doesn't meet the challenge ... missing the person

If you would have included a hand or even a finger in the photo, I'd have given it a 10.

Wow well done! That has to be a 30D with a battery pack...good idea!the cell phone will be hard on batteries...an 8 from me. The light seems a little flat and DOF is a little shallow for my taste, but being that your 30d is in the shot you may not have had much choice.Great idea

That must of taken a while to do that
Post actions
NICE too bad tou destroyed a phone to do this pic
Post actions
Very clever. The execution could be a little more interesting.

did you glue buttons from a nokia phone to your camera?
Post actions
Yeah the face plate pops off and the buttons come out and then you stick em on your dlsr.... cute.

The challenge says:
This week capture an interesting photo of a person using their cellular phone.
Post actions
While the shot is nice, the phone is still not in use, which I believe was a parametre of the challenge ...
Post actions
Very creative and nicely executed!

I know I bought a Nikon for a good reason... ;-)

idea is good, picture not so nice

interesting shot but unfortunately IMO DNMC as it called for a person using their cell phone
Post actions
Nice idea, but I don't think it is really fitting the intent of the challenge.

DNMC: "This week capture an interesting photo of a person using their cellular phone." Where is the person?
