IMHO this should have been in the top three of this challenge. Great quality. The lamp on the left probably distracted voters. I hope the soft focus version of this shot does better.
I'm thinking that you could have done away with the lampshade and the bit of the base of the lamp at the bottom corner on this. The perfume bottle, which is a real interesting look piece could have been given better placement as well. Good overall shot.
What a beautiful set up, so perfect and I almost missed the bottle on the left and the topper towards the right. The shade in the upper left is a bit distracting but otherwise a perfect shot. A 9
Interesting approach. Not convinced the near-ground lamp bowl adds a hell of a lot. There's tonality and texture in the shot - but aroma? I don't know. But then I haven't ever seen a shot that reminded me of a smell yet.
A beautiful collection of objects, high class, nicely arranged. Suggesting a subtle smell of perfume on paper. Nice soft light as well. I am not so sure about the desk lamp on the left, it adds depth but also is disturbing. I think I would have chosen an view more from the right, but then it might be difficult to include the full lenght of the feather.
