take away the "gimmick" photos in this challenge and you have the blue - thank you for showing that straight forward photography can place well - this is great work
My vocabulary has increased ten-fold since coming to this site. This is one of my faves of the challenge. I love the candidness of the shot. The lighting perfectly captures his senescentness (lol not sure if I just created a new word). Great pic!
This is pretty awesome! I love the texture. The detail in every little pore and wrinkle on his face. I like the droopy eyes too. They look to hide lots of stories.
I'll do this first so that you'll see where I'm coming from. On the portrait alone, 8. It's captivating, well composed, a delightfully expressive model, emotive.....and a fav for me.....
The bad thing.....I had to look up senescent and that's not a good thing 'cause I have a voluminous vocabulary. That may hurt you, but hopefully the extremely good portrait will cause most voters to blow by the title.
