This picture has very good clarity and contrast. I like the shallow dof which emphasises the rope. You might want to play with the crop to bring the rope out even more.

I agree, the technicals are great, as is the composition. Maybe you could darken the background and lighten the rope in editing, and maybe add a viniette? Just a suggestion.
