Ewww garlic! Composition is good and it's nicely sharp and clear. A few of the bulbs near the top seem slightly overexposed and the detail has been lost somewhat. They are all very similar color/tone and so could probably have done with a little more contrast.

i think the skin of garlic has some good texture..if the lighting was a little less bright (or the shot was less exposed) and the highlights were not blown out as they are here (only some, mind you!) it would have improved this shot a lot. Lighting a little too harsh, but, on right hand side of frame, nice detail in the skins. Good composition, interesting choice of b/w.
