Neat photo. Great focus and the light is right on. I wish the squirrel could have had its head cocked just a bit more towards the camera. But I like the photo.7

I really like this photos, Please give it a 9. Partial to animal photos.

Im not sure I would have centered this. moving the squirl's head up to the lef would have generated more appeal.

This is just precious. The dof is excellent, the focus dead on. My suggestion would be for the composition - maybe crop it so the squarrel's head would appear lower and more to the right with more image data included on the top and left (hope this makes sense). Very well done indeed.

What a cutie! Nice shot overall, not sure about the surprise part unless you were really close and he popped out at you! The cropping is well done, the lighting is good for this one, the birdhouse in the shadow with the dappled sunlight in the background. The DOF is also very well done. An 8

I like this photo very much. Great capture of the moment! I think this is one of the few that really meets the challenge.

Awesome photo, but the squirrel looks more curious than surprised.

Perfect DOF. I really like the rustic paint and wood. It adds some great textures. This belongs on a wall.
