It's early in the year for snow here, though not painfully so. This maple still had almost all its leaves (though still yellow) a couple days before the snowfall. You can see all the other plants that hadn't quite expected this (only fair, neither did the weatherman) poking up through as well.
By the next day, it was all gone.
