considered this for the red challenge ...
but put this one instead, coz i thought ppl would mark me down for the blue colouring ... another mistake .. i much prefer the one i didnt enter because its more dramatic, but didnt think dpc would agree ...
In my opinion, this would have worked just fine, but I'm sure it would have met a lot of DNMC from the, well, I'm not sure who "they" are. To me, "red" is not only shown here but also implied. "Red" means Stop pretty much all over the world. Especially with trains. Besides, I just think this is a really cool shot.
I like this one better than your actual entry - there's less implied tension, and certainly the color blue seems to take center center stage at first but ultimately I think it would have served to accentuate the red - not diminish it. Either way it makes for a neat image...
