Well, I had these gigantic needle/syringes i nicked from the hospital (I'm a medical student, and yes i did actually ask permission before helping myself :P). I thought this fit the challenge perfectly... something different, yet still fitting in the theme. Hardest thing was deciding which angle shot ot use.
Setup was very simple, simply a white piece of poster paper as backdrop, positioned next to window, so I had the sun as a light source :P
PP was very minimal
- raw w/crop and WB setting
- levels to give white point properly
- HSL to bump up saturation ever so slightly

Interesting idea but not very realistic, and that is what I was looking for in this challenge. That was just my criteria. I like the composition of the photo overall, but the right side is a little blown out and too light.
This is a cute image. I like how you used the needles inside looks very fun. The bowl in the back is distracting, it makes me feel like I am missing something. Also, it seems there is a bit too much white reflecting, it creates this haze for me. Over all a very nice image.
