Thanks to everyone for their great comments. It's really amazing to see how many people leave the same constructive criticism without seeing each others' comments. that's how I know everyone must be right! In this case, many people, as you can see below, wanted to see my wife's entire torso. I took many shots of her, and unfortunately the ones with her whole body showing also showed umbrellas and people in a pool that you can't see from this angle. So, while I agree it would have been great to have her up higher, I had to settle for this shot. But I was extrememly happy with it, and thrilled about a top 10 finish! Thanks again.
This is a really fun idea, But personally I would have liked to see the whole person. I think it would have added a very dynamic element to this image.
I like the angles and lines in this photograph. The architecture behind the person medititating is beautiful and crisp, as well as the silouette in the foreground. Nice job.
Great shot - Lovely composition - My only regret is that the person isn't on the top step so we could see the crossed legs which would have made this the perfect shot - Still a great image though and should do well.
Chris:
I think you've nailed this one with one of the best pictures here. Granted, I haven't looked at any of the others except in the small form, but a lot of them look like they're really stretching to fit the challenge. Yours is awesome. Not sure what final score I'll give you until I've seen all the others. But, I'm going to score you pretty high.
would have liked to have seen the bottom of the body...only thing, maybe sittin on the foreground. not counting off for that though, just personal preference. great job, 7
